On October 19, 2023, Grayscale, the crypto investment management firm, has officially filed a new application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with the goal of converting their Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) into a Bitcoin spot ETF. The move comes as the SEC has balked at its efforts to appeal its lawsuit against Grayscale. 2️⃣ The Aptos network "crashed", stopped working for several hours. Recently, the community discovered that Aptos' network has been down for a significant period of time. Specifically, according to on-chain data on AptosScan, transactions on the Aptos blockchain have been stopped processing at block 104621314. Meanwhile, exchanges such as Upbit and OKX have suspended APT deposits and withdrawals.
